My sweet escape.

Can't you take me there once more?

I love long walks on the beach, at night.

Such tranquillity, I certainly miss those times.

Would you take my hand, and walk me through?

Or would you just keep this awkward silence between us.

Time will tell, and I'd like to know.

On a brigther note, met up with Justin and the girls yesterday and it was so nice seeing them again.
You guys really know how to make me feel better
*hugs*

Djokovic wins first Slam title with victory at Aussie Open final

I've found my new athlete "eye-candy".
Born on the 22nd of May 1987 (just a few days before me..), he's such a classic young athlete full of youth and charm.
I love his charming look.
Seriously.

".....20-year-old third seed became the first Serb to win a tennis Grand Slam, coming from behind to register a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (7/2) victory over the tournament bolter in three hours six minutes.

Djokovic's victory was the first Grand Slam final since the 2005 Australian Open not won by Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal with the top-ranked pair dominating the game with the last 11 majors between them..."

I think I'm infatuated again.

The "grown-up" talk...

On the way home from our usual late night drinks, Kelly Yeng and I were just talking about life.

"...Oh em gee, we're damn old already la babe. 21 this year! I was talking to my friend the other day and we realized that we're graduating soon, and..... have to work already...."

"...Oh shit, yeah have to work already. Must worry about whether we'll make enough money to support our so called luxurious lifestyle.. how wei babes.."

"...Sigh, to come to think of it.. we have so much more responsiblities now.. have to take care of parents after that, take care of ourself, start worrying about our married lifes, kids etc..."

"...Gosh, I didn't know we'll grow up this fast. Nowadays also lazy go drinking, clubbing and all, everyday also feel like staying at home, chill watch tv..."

"......................................old already."

Time flies babe. I still remember you in your high school baju kurung.
Damn.

Makes me wish that I don't have to grow up, ever.

Today was a rather productive day I would say *pats myself on my back*
Got my lazy ass to the gym after 5-days-of-non stop eating in Singapore
Brought my gym buddy Vivianne along to accompany me suffer a hour of intensive cardio workout.

And when I say intensive cardio, I mean a soaking wet t-shirt after that RPM class.
YAY.
Burn fat burn fat burn burn burn those stupid accumulated fat from Melbourne food.

Roar.

I hate going overseas; the portions are larger, the weather is colder which forces you to eat more carbs (which is the biggest downfall!).

Highlight of the day:
Eating grilled calamari, prawns and Dory for dinner and meeting up with Justin , Kelly n Singz again

Visiting the gym tomorrow, perhaps? Yes I must!

Am still shocked over Heath Ledger's death. Sigh, makes you realize that Life Is Short.

I found this picture in one of my folders, and I simply love it.

Australia's hunky actor, Heath Ledger was found dead in New York early this morning (7.30am melbourne time).
I was appalled by the news after reading it online on The Age (Australian National Newspaper)
I seriously stared at the news headlines for almost a good five minutes.

Apparently, Heath Ledger died of drug overdoes. Hmmm, so much for being my hunky australian idol.
I remember the first time I laid eyes on him *eye candy* was went he appeared on 10 things I hate about you alongside Julia Stiles.

Okay, as I am typing this entry now... I am still in shock.

Rest In Peace, Heath Ledger.

I decided to change the layout of my blog to spruce things up a little.
I love the design of this layout although, writing on a grey background ain't going to be easy as colours are limited.
I've got comments that the girl in the picture above is somewhat scary, I find her cute.

Don't bother with the layout of the old posts as it was adjusted to the old layout and I couldnt' be bothered playing with the HTML codes because I'm seriously illiterate on how to go abouts.
And the links/sidebars I'll finish it up another day, when I'm not that tired to squint at the small printed html's.
Gawd, I despise htmls.

Sarong Party Girls - Sarah, Singz, Lix

Pictures from Singz' camera that she just uploaded in Facebook.
Facebook is a wonderful invention I tell you, best ever friend network created!
Go-die-lah Friendster, MySpace etc..

Don't know why my hair turned brown :( I dyed it black with brown highlights.

The highlights seem to be taking over my hair.

A more decent picture with pretty light effects <3

I look hideous in this picture, But i <3 this brother of mine

Hopefully with a new layout, I'll visit this page more often.
Or more likey, update more often!
Toodles!

Okay, Kelly's adulthood just sounds a teeny bit obscene. Hehe
But the key to adulthood is being twenty-one.
The big 2-1 for all those babies born in the year 1987
Gorgeous Kelly Latimer reading the card Singz, Lix and I got her.
Open the pretty Yellow bag and there it is, a Fendi Charm.
Happy Twenteen-first dear <3

Oh-my-goodness, which also means that I turn the big two-one this year as well.
Sigh twenty one years of living on this planet.
Sounds so OLD.
With that age, sounds like it comes with a whole lot of new responsibilities and wisdom.
I don't think I am ready for adulthood, but I am ready to be spoilt with lovely typical 21-year-old presents <3
*giggles*
If you're wondering why Kelly is wearing a Sarong, well that's because the theme of her 21st birthday party was Sarong Party Girls (SPG), some Singsporean comic thing.
Met a whole new bunch of Singaporeans at Kelly's place in the East Coast and I visited all the fairly new malls in Singapore.
Thinking back, I haven't been to Singapore ever since my uncle shifted to Hong Kong for his new job offer.
And now........ Singapore looks even cleaner than it used to be (it was already clean then), and there's a whole lot of new constructions going on (like the new Casino's their building near Harbourfront).
The shopping malls are about the same as ours, no difference but the local shoe brands are pretty!
Bought a pair of shoes there even though i SWORE not to buy any because my luggage back to Melbourne has 8 pairs of shoes in it already *hehehehehe*
Anyhoos, on Friday night Kelly brought us Malaysians to the ever-famous Ministry of Sound (MoS) in New Clarke Quay and what can I say?
I wasn't let down.
Me & The pre-birthday girl on Friday night.
Me & my favourite girl, Singz <3
MoS' interior design was superb and the ventilation was incredible that I didn't even sweat a bit!
The club is massive in size as well. Even though it was packed with people, there was still enough space to maneuvur around the club.
There are four areas - Main (which was playing trance that night), Smoove (RnB), House and Retro. there may have been more but i cant remember.
Massive. I loved it.
Kelly's friend Prasad bought us this newfound alcohol Sourz Apple
(green in colour of course), and we were drinking shots like we were drinking apple juices.
But seriously, drinking the Sourz Apple neat was like gulping shots of apple juices, so imagine how many shot glasses we had.
*tipsy by the night*
Left MoS at 4am in the morning, and Kelly brought us for typical Singaporean supper
Mee Pork.
But the highlight of my trip to Singapore was seeing my best friend/older brother Justin again. I haven't seen him for 7 weeks since I left Melbourne because he decided to stay back and work full time.
He came down to KL, took a bus to Singapore just to surprise his girlfriend, Kelly for her 21st.
How sweet right?
He actually planned it 2 months in advanced and kept this big secret from everyone!!
And when he arrived at Kelly's 21st birthday party, she wept. And I did a bit too.
I didn't realize how much I missed him till I saw him again.
Thanks kor <3
See you back in KL in 2 days!
Kor & Mui <3.
There's a peak at my maroon Sarong I wore that night.
Overall my trip was a bliss.
From great company, awesome singaporean food, late nights, my brother being there, kelly's 21st, MoS, shopping, eating, etc made it a great weekend.
I might consider looking for a banking career in Singapore after I graduate, if I don't succeed in finding one in Australia.
*sigh*

I was just pondering on the thought that I will be graduating in 11 months time.
End of December marks the last phase of my studying life.
Come to think of it, 3 years completing my Bachelor Degree has flown by so quickly that I've been taking for granted all the lovely things I can do in Uni.

And plus, this year marks 21 years of being on this Earth.
Omg.

Twenty One.

As I was growing up with older cousins (I dont have older siblings), I've always heard my aunties/grandma's say to my older cousins..
"....Wah 21 years old already. The key to adulthood.... So big already ar. Better act more matured.. Going to work already some more..."

And now, finally? its my turn... Another 4 months till I turn 21.
So all these things have been circulating my mind because I feel I'm not "ready" to grow up yet. I'm not ready to take on responsibilities and start earning my keep.

:(

So I sat down today, and started thinking while listening to my "on-random-play" iTunes playlist...
I've decided to start taking responsibility about my future this year (it's never too late).

Woke up early this morning (compared to my usual 2pm-3pm), went to the gym, had healthy lunch with some friends and came home to shower.
Took the car out and went to Borders alone...
Spent about an hour there choosing what books I should read to gear up for my future..

Hahaha. Omg I Sound so serious, but yeah I am starting to take a teeny weeny bit of seriousness into my future..
*giggles*

I walked over to the "Best Sellers" and I came across this book entitled "Tough Choices" written by Carly Fiorina.
Carly Fiorina was recently named "The Most Powerful Woman in Business" by Fortune in the USA.
She was one of the first female CEO of a Fortune 20 company (Hewlett-Packard).

I immediately grabbed her biodata as she describes what it takes to be someone of her calibre.
Now I am glued to it, because her life story is truly amazing.

After grabbing that inspirational book, I went over to the magazine section to grab my first ever copy of The Economist.
Looks like Sarah is going to get busy gearing up for third year :)

Third year & Working Life, here I come.

this picture really reminds me how much I drag long distance relationships.
boooooooo.
this is how close you can get when you're 6000 miles apart.

now I miss him even more.
Wheeeeee excruciating 8 weeks!

Snippets of celebrating the new years with closest people <3
This year was spent at yet another hotel room, but this time nearer to our homes @ Eastin Hotel.
The management was smart enough to give us the room right at the corner where there was a door to seperate our room from the rest.
So we could make as much noise as we want (especially when the alcohol kicks in)

:)

I've got a good feeling about this year.
I am anticipating great things and great things will happen because I stepped into 2008 with full of love from family and friends and I hope it'll continue throughout the year.

<3.

Shaun left for Melbourne this morning and now I feel somewhat empty :(
8 weeks seperation has to be the longest throughout our 3 year relationship..
Hopefully we can pull through this!

Missing you, xoxo.
