when you walk around the house with just your shorts and a singlet
when you head out without thinking of bringing a cardigan or a jacket
when you walk out remembering to bring your sunnies because the sun is just too bright
then you start heading towards the city and what you notice is the city is packed with people.
people just like you, enjoying the God-given bliss weather with Sun and warm breeze.
You know that summer is here..
when you pass the gardens, not seeing grass but people scattered everywhere soaking under the sun.
when you pass the gardens, not smelling the grass but the smell of that familiar sun tan lotion scent you have.
when you walk pass cafe's and the inside is not packed but the tables outside are all taken.
when you walk around the city, and all the girls are clothed with as little cloth as possible and the guys are dressed with surfs and havannas.
I love summer. I love the beach. I love the sun. I love the warmth and I love melbourne.
And then you come home, even at 7.30pm just to find that the sun is still shinning bright and even at 9pm, when the moon is out to play, the sky is still orange and pink.
You gotta love 4 seasons. Especially summer.
Well i can't really enjoy my summer yet since my exams only end on Wednesday. But i will, enjoy it when im done.
Aspendale beach, here i come next weekend!
